Hitit University Technology Transfer Office Inc. (Hitit TTO) visited the KOSGEB Çorum Provincial Directorate as part of its goal to strengthen regional collaborations. Hitit TTO Director Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özgür Özdilli and Deputy Director Burcu Kabakdere participated in the visit, while KOSGEB Çorum Provincial Director Halit Sıddık Tonkuş hosted the delegation in his office.
During the meeting, the needs of industrial enterprises in Çorum and the TR83 region (Amasya, Çorum, Samsun, and Tokat) were discussed. Topics such as increasing the competitiveness of export-oriented SMEs in the region, supporting innovative production activities, and protecting intellectual property rights were highlighted. One of the meeting's focal points was Freedom to Operate (FTO) analyses, which enable businesses to identify potential risks arising from third-party patents for products or services they plan to bring to market. In this context, ideas were exchanged regarding the introduction and dissemination of analysis services that Hitit TTO can offer to SMEs.
